How do you update the firmware on a Shot Scope V5?

Firmware is the programming which is written into your device. Updates are often issued to introduce new features and fix any issues which could be hampering your Shot Scope experience.

When there is a firmware update available, you will receive an email from Shot Scope which lets you know that you need to update. To perform the update please follow the steps below:

Mobile - iOS

1) Make sure that your device has at least 25% battery charge.

2) If you have your Shot Scope app open then please manually log out (closing the app doesn't log you out). 

3) Log back into the Shot Scope app.

4) Connect the device to the Shot Scope app.

5) If there is a firmware update you will be prompted to sync as the 'Connect Device' button will change to an 'Update Firmware' button.

6) Tap the 'Update Firmware' button. The firmware update will start. Please make sure you keep your mobile phone or tablet and device in close proximity with each other during the update. This could take 15-20 minutes.

Its also important to make sure the WIFI connection is strong, the device and the mobile/tablet are near to each other and that the device isn't interrupted during the process (best to keep it on the Shot Scope app until sync is complete).
