While the strap on your Shot Scope watch may appear to be the “wrong way round” compared to a typical watch, it is intentionally designed this way for technical reasons.
Designed for Shot Tracking Accuracy
The strap without the buckle contains the RFID antenna used for detecting club tags during play. This strap must be positioned on the side closest to where the tags pass your wrist, ensuring accurate shot tracking.
As a result, the strap layout may differ from a traditional watch — but this is essential for the system to function correctly.
Can I Swap the Straps Around?
We strongly advise not swapping the straps (i.e. placing the buckle strap at the top and the RFID strap at the bottom). Doing so will interfere with the RFID system and likely cause shot detection issues.
