When a firmware update is available, you will receive an email notification from Shot Scope. Follow the steps below to update your firmware:
Updating Firmware on iOS:

Ensure Your Device Has At Least 25% Battery:
- Make sure both your Shot Scope device and mobile device have sufficient charge.

Log Out of the Shot Scope App:
- If you have the app open, manually log out (closing the app doesn’t log you out).

Log Back Into the Shot Scope App:
- Reopen the app and log back into your account.

Connect Your Device to the Shot Scope App:
- Make sure your Shot Scope device is connected.

Check for the Firmware Update:
- If a firmware update is available, the "Update Firmware" button will appear on screen.

Start the Update:
- Tap "Update Firmware" to begin the update. The process may take 15-20 minutes. Make sure your mobile device and Shot Scope device are kept in close proximity to ensure a stable connection throughout the update.

The firmware update of my v5 is stuck at 99%. It's been therre for almost 2 hours now. What can I do to finish the update?
After struggling for some days, trying to update the firmware on my V5, I found out that keeping the watch charged and plugged in (even when it is already 100% charged) and then update the firmware and course updates does the trick.
