Before you tee off, you’ll need to select one of two game modes: GPS or GPS+Track. This will determine how your Shot Scope device functions during your round. Here's a breakdown of each mode:
GPS Mode
- Functionality: Provides yardages to the Front, Middle, and Back of the green throughout your round.
- Hazard Information: Displays distances to the front and back of hazards.
- Performance Tracking: Not available in this mode. No data will be collected for shot tracking or performance analysis.
- Best For: Golfers who only need yardages during their round without any performance tracking.
GPS+Track Mode
- Functionality: Combines GPS yardages with the added benefit of performance tracking.
- Shot Tracking: Collects data on every shot you take, including club selection, shot distances, and more, allowing for in-depth performance analysis after the round.
- Tagging Requirement: Tags need to be inserted into the clubs prior to your round to track your shots.
- Best For: Golfers who want both accurate yardages and detailed performance insights.
