Why is My Tee Shot Being Recorded with the Incorrect Club?
Our software relies on detecting a tee shot for each hole. If you hit a driver off the tee, for example, and the system fails to capture the Driver tag or your swing, our software will try to estimate which club was used based on where your next shot was taken and your club averages. While we are continually refining this process, it may occasionally result in an incorrect club being recorded.
What to Do If the Incorrect Club Is Recorded:
- Edit the Club During the Review Process:
If the wrong club has been recorded, you can easily edit the club during the editing/signing off phase of your round.
If Incorrect Clubs Are Frequently Recorded:
If your shots are frequently missed or the wrong clubs are being recorded, there may be an issue with the watch. Please follow our shot detection checklist to ensure you are adhering to the best practices for accurate shot detection during your round.
