How Do I Assign a Club to a Tag Slot in the My Bag Feature?

You may need to assign a club to a tag slot if you’ve created a club in your My Bag but haven’t yet used it, or if you’ve replaced a tag and want to reassign a club. Assigning a club to a tag allows Shot Scope to start tracking it during your rounds.

Follow the instructions below to assign a club on both the mobile app and web dashboard.

Assigning a Club on the Mobile App

1. Log in to your Shot Scope app.
2. Go to the My Bag screen.
3. Tap on the tag slot you wish to assign a club to (e.g. tap on X2 if you want to assign your 3-iron to that slot).
4. You’ll be taken to the Assign Club screen. Under the ‘Other Clubs’ section, you’ll see all unassigned clubs you’ve previously created.
5. Tap the club you want to assign.
    If you haven’t created the club yet, you can do so from this screen.

The club is now assigned to the selected tag slot, and you’ll be returned to the My Bag screen where the change will be reflected.

Assigning a Club on the Dashboard

1. Visit dashboard.shotscope.com and log in.
2. Go to the My Bag section.
3. In the Unassigned Clubs section, click and drag the club you want to assign to the desired tag slot in the Tags section.

Your club is now assigned and ready to be tracked in future rounds.
