Creating a club in the My Bag section allows you to personalise your setup and ensure your Shot Scope system accurately tracks performance. You can do this from both the mobile app and the web dashboard.
Creating a Club in the Mobile App
Follow these steps to add a new club:
- Log in to the Shot Scope app.
- Navigate to the My Bag screen.
- Tap on the tag slot where you want to assign the new club.
Tip: For clubs without a dedicated tag (e.g. a 5 wood or 3 iron), use an X1 or X2 slot. - Tap the ‘New Club’ button.
- Select the club type (e.g. Driver, Wood, Putter) and tap ‘Continue’.
- Choose the specific club number (e.g. 7 iron or 3 wood), then tap ‘Continue’.
- Select the club make by scrolling through the list. Tap to choose, then scroll to the bottom and tap ‘Continue’.
- Choose the club model in the same way, then tap ‘Continue’ again.
- Review all your selections. If everything is correct, tap ‘Complete’ to finalise the club creation.
You’ll return to the My Bag screen where your new club will be visible and assigned to the chosen tag slot.
Creating a Club on the Web Dashboard
- Go to dashboard.shotscope.com and log in.
- Navigate to the My Bag section.
- Click the ‘+ Add Club’ button.
- Use the dropdown menus to select the Type, Club, Make, and Model.
- Click ‘Add Club’ to confirm.
Your new club will now appear in the Unassigned section and can be dragged to a tag slot.
What If You Played Before Creating Clubs?
If you played and uploaded a round before setting up your clubs, Shot Scope will have automatically created default clubs based on the tags detected during your round. These can be easily edited in My Bag to reflect the correct make and model.
